NEW - Sandra Lousada
Our latest collection extends a tradition here at Mary Evans of representing outstanding 20th century photographers such as Roger Mayne, Shirley Baker and Tim Mercer. Add to this group internationally renowned photographer Sandra Lousada, who has worked as a theatre photographer, portraitist and in the worlds of fashion, beauty and advertising over a career spanning more than half a century. Her grandfather was the writer and politician A.P. Herbert, and her mother was influential stage designer Jocelyn Herbert. Sandra grew up in the world of the arts, film, literature and theatre, and through photography found her own creative language. Her subjects include artists David Hockney and Henry Moore, 1960s models Jean Shrimpton and Celia Hammond, presenter Paula Yates, singers Cilla Black and Kiki Dee, and musician Evelyn Glennie.
