Collection of the week: Mysterious Mary Evans: the world of the paranormal
Hilary Evans, who co-founded the Mary Evans Picture Library in 1964, was an eloquent and world-renowned author and lecturer on the subject of unexplained phenomena. He was particularly interested in the UFO experience, but also had a deep knowledge of all kinds of anomalous and strange happenings from witchcraft to spiritualism, and built up a magnificent library to go with it. These treasures have been the foundation of our unparalleled collection of images of the paranormal.

In addition, we represent the collection of notable psychic researcher Harry Price deposited at the University of London in 1936 as the Harry Price Collection of Magical Literature. It contains superlative images on all aspects of magic and the occult. Whether firewalking and fortune-telling floats your boat, or alien abductions and apparitions are your bag, we have it here.

You can view a wide selection here, and do get in touch if you can't find what you're looking for online, either by email at pictures@maryevans.com or by telephone on 020 8318 0034.
